DIANE
LANE (Ellen Morris), whose career has bridged childhood stardom
with classic leading lady status, was recently seen in the romance
"A Walk on the Moon."

feature-film credits include Peter Mastersons "The Only
Thrill" with Sam Shepard and Diane Keaton, "Murder at
1600" opposite Wesley Snipes, Francis Ford Coppolas "Jack"
opposite Robin Williams, Walter Hills "Wild Bill"
with Jeff Bridges, "Judge Dredd" opposite Sylvester Stallone,
the critically acclaimed independent "My New Gun" and
her portrayal of actress Paulette Goddard in "Chaplin,"
as well as the Francis Ford Coppola films "The Outsiders,"
"Rumble Fish" and "The Cotton Club." She will
be seen next in Wolfgang Petersons "The Perfect Storm,"
with George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.
As
a child actor, Lane performed in a range of theatrical shows, including
Joseph Papps productions of "The Cherry Orchard"
and "Agamemnon" at Lincoln Center, before making her film
debut opposite Sir Laurence Olivier in George Roy Hills "A
Little Romance," which brought her public acclaim and the cover
of Time magazine.
On
television, Lane starred opposite Alec Baldwin and Jessica Lange
in "A Streetcar Named Desire" for CBS, earned an emmy
nomination for her role opposite Robert Duvall on the award-winning
CBS mini-series "Lonesome Dove," and starred with Donald
Sutherland, Cicely Tyson and Anne Bancroft in the critically acclaimed
epic miniseries "Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All."
