Alcon
Entertainment Co-Presidents ANDREW A. KOSOVE and BRODERICK
JOHNSON (Producers) draw from common professional goals and
a shared alma mater, Princeton University, where they were classmates
beginning in 1989. Kosove graduated magna cum laude with
a joint degree in politics and economics. Johnson, who earned his
degree in economics, later worked as a quantitative analyst for
Salomon Brothers in New York.
After
working together in various capacities in the motion picture industry,
Kosove and Johnson founded Alcon Entertainment in January, 1997
with financial backing from a private investor. Alcon Entertainment,
which is named after the ally of Hercules (a mythological archer
who never missed his target), is primarily dedicated to financing
the development, packaging and production of feature films which
are distributed through major studios. Since its inception, Alcon
Entertainment has produced two features for Warner Bros.: the 1999
comedy "Lost & Found," starring David Spade and Sophie
Marceau, and "My Dog Skip."
